My name is Tami and I am a single mom with a 12 old son that was diagnosed February 1, 2012 with Type 1 Diabetes. The past 6 months have been very challenging and emotional. With every challenge we receive in life we are then met with experiences that help to shape us and make us stronger.
Here I wish to express our challenges and triumphs and start a conversation with other families working through this diagnosis. Please know that I in no way know it all, in fact I know very little about this disease. However, I do wish to share my thoughts my feelings and frustrations in hopes to find others in the same place or beyond.
